Sen. John McCain returned from a trip to Ukraine on Sunday, calling for "a fundamental re-assessment" of the United States' relationship with Russian Vladimir Putin.
No more reset buttons," McCain told Candy Crowley on CNN's "State of the Union." No more reset buttons, no more Tell Vladimir Ill be more flexible. Treat him for what he is. That does not mean re-ignition of the Cold War. But it does mean treating him in the way that we understand an individual who believes in restoring the old Russian empire.
McCain, who has been critical of the Obama administration's response to the crisis in Crimea, said the White House should target Russia's oil exports.
"Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country, McCain said. Its kleptocracy, its corruption. Its a nation thats really only dependent upon oil and gas for their economy. And so economic sanctions are important. Get some military assistance to Ukrainians, at least so they can defend themselves. Resume the missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic. Look at Moldova and Georgia, both of whom are occupied by Russian troops as we speak, a path toward membership in NATO.

Agreed. Can I sign you up to join us at the forefront of the ARTICLE V movement?
It pains me when a a Republican makes a jackass public statement like that.
It’s old washed up, know-it-all farts like McVain that make me look somewhat favorably on Putin. McCain would have had us in wars all around the Mediterranean Sea if he were U.S. president.
To bring substantial economic pressure to bear on Russia, the West needs to drastically reduce the prices of petroleum, natural gas and gasoline. This won’t happen because, among other things, 1) 0bama intends to drive up the costs of any fossil fuel wherever and however possible and 2) the reactionary warmongering of McCain and his ilk will assure that there is a substantial fear component factored into the cost of oil.
We're tired.
+1

That’s good.
I was thinking that, but I don’t Photoshop.
Gigadittos. I'm so tired of this loudmouth never-was I could puke.

Every once in awhile McStain wakes up and has a lucid moment.
McKook is a moron. Anyone who listens to him after the last two decades of his nonsense is a fool.
