Yup.
One of the biggest problem America has is that it’s people either never learned their history or they are so far removed from it that it’s ‘make believe’...no different than a fairy tale or a TV show.
They might have read about the Revolutionary war, but they have not clue 1 as to what a sacrifice is. I mean lets face it. People of 2012 refused to vote for candidates based on the fact that a loss would mean losing a couple grand of income via taxes and such. It was too large a sacrifice.
contrast that to the founders who lost property, families and their lives in some cases based on their belief in freedom. I mean let that sink in lurkers. The cost of a big screen TV is the price they put on their freedom.
We are doomed. Literally doomed because those were supposedly conservative right wingers...the very people who supposedly hold history and the founders in highest regard. Until that pathetic situation changes, It is not at all surprising that those same people will armchair QB the Russia thing solely watching and buying the propaganda that comes from their $2000 ‘freedom’.
Without ever having an independent thought of their own based on a history they do not ‘really’ believe in.
Wow, great post & deep thought.
People need to start prioritizing, but too many have their faces glued to entertainment in their little video screens.
