Why bother with Obama’s approval ratings?

Do we think that he will voluntarily step down if the ratings were to descend below a certain level?

Will congress critters then follow suit?

At some point allah da sudden he will have no visible supporters and be removed from office one way or another, either the Nixon route, or the Ceaușescu route.

I was around for the Nixon removal. Funny thing? In conservative Orange County, I couldn't find a single person who would admit to having voted for him, including people who right after the election bragged that they had!

If the people lead, the leaders will eventually follow...
