There is a reason why Washington DC suburbs are the richest in the USA, even surpassing NYC and the Wall Street thieves and Silicon Valley, home to every internet based company worth mentioning.

To these people, ‘public service’ is a verb.

Hmmm. Maybe we would be better off with less government?

Someone should contact “Interverant Mistake Ryan” and let him know that this a great place to start saving money instead of f’ing the vets.

Amongst civilian employees of the EPA at grade GS-12 and above, the numbers of conservatives can probably be counted on one hand. Corruption, abuse of power, arrogance, and criminal behavior are common characteristics of Democrats in government. This is the culture of the EPA and can only be corrected by either eliminating the agency or by completely expelling their upper ranks.

This is a monster that was unfortunately created by Republicans. Someone needs to slay the dragon.

Seems like the Federal Employee's are looting the economy before the financial collapse.
Just sayin'.

I used to Manage 50 Staff Members.

If any of them misused a Corporate Credit Card they were fired. Theft is theft, period.

Know what you mean. If this is so rampant at the EPA, then it is encouraged there as part of the culture. Methinks this is just one worm amongst many in that can.

And then throw in the requirement to purchase supplies via the “General Purchase Card” only from GSA Schedule suppliers. I am need archive document boxes for my archive. the GSA approved supplier that I MUST purchase from charges $8.06 per box and there is only one listed. My cost search of other suppliers, which I must do for the approval form has one who charges $8.05 per box and another that charges only $5.15 per box.

I called the GSA approval authority and she said that I am REQUIRED BY GSA REGULATION to purchase from the GSA approved supplier and thus spend $8.06 per box instead from the cheapest source at $5.15 per box.

And this requirement when we are suppose to be saving money where ever possible!

These evil bastards need to be routed and jailed!

First thing that should happen is: Publish their names on all the news channels and the amount they mis-spent (stole).

GSA and EPA work for the same criminal enterprise.

I know what you mean.

I spent three hours cross referencing stock/part numbers through GSA contractors and subcontractors to make sure what we were ordering was what we were required to buy, and then filling out additional paperwork.

For that three hours, I "saved" the government 10 whole dollars!
