I'm getting real tired of all this ,, I'm sure gay veterans have been in the parade as long as it's been around ,,, just as straight veterans have been in it... I'm sure the promoters and sponsors just want this to be a respectful event ,, no veterans in purple speedo's and chaps with their boyfriends alongside all oiled up like a bodybuilder show... there is no reason to split the event up into various warring factions...

I was just on the phone with a friend telling him about this FR excerpt and he said exactly “I’m getting real tired of all this” just as I noticed your post...eerie but not surprising as the tipping point must be real close here.

I’m in agreement (almost said “I’m with you”—ha ha).
Anyway, gay Vets can leave their queerness at home or save
it for later like the heteros do. Just keep your damn
sexuality to yourself in public is the way I see it.

Ah, yes, another gay veteran.
Of what, I have no idea.
Once the organizers let the vampire in the home, there will be no stopping it.
