Ridiculous. It was not a suicide flight. They’d have crashed it where they were. no reason to try and avoid radar and fly for hours.

WRONG! The terrorists wanted to create an aftermath such as what we are talking about now. Also, they would choose to ditch the aircraft in water much deeper than was available around Malaysia, Viet Nam, etc, and that would be out over the Indian Ocean.

Agreed. Heard that earlier and thought "no way." Why go through the trouble if disabling the ACARS system. That takes a little doing. No need for that if it was suicide.

It was hijacked. The passengers, after many hours, got fed up and fought back. The plane crashed before getting to the final destination.
