I don’t disagree with you.

I am pointing out that you can beat a horse, and at first it will run faster, however at some point, beating that horse gains nothing.

It seems to me that Issa is simply going through the motions, doing his duty, and in the end realizes that beating that horse leads to nothing. So he moves on to the next item on the checklist, goes through the motions, etc. Rinse and repeat for the next item/outrage.

If Issa doesn’t have the support of the leadership then he’s screwed...Boner/Cantor are the ones who are making it difficult for Issa to actually accomplish anything as best I can tell, so he does his duty, holds the committee hearings and moves on.

No, he’s not. This aint about GOP ‘leadership’. It’s about “HIS” leadership. A leader does not back down because someone wants to put party politics ahead of his country. He does what is right and what THE LAW says he must. She gave up her 5th rights. He turns the other cheek.

He is complicit.

All Issa does is use the Bhoner meekness as an acceptable cover for doing nothing. The end result, the ONLY thing that matters, is that Dems CONTINUE their marxist BS. And Issa and the rest are helping them achieve their goals.

Proof? See above examples of Issa’s fruitless wheel spinning and the results thereof.
