I’d be interested in learning how this “equalizing” takes place. If not enough women are elected then what? Does someone appoint them over the wishes of the voters? And what about the “extra” men duly elected by the voters? Do they get booted? And who decides which ones get removed?

There you go again, with that thinking thing. Get right with your feelings and the progressivism of the very idea of equality and none of that stuff will be a problem.
For this to be implemented would mean the end of the one man, one vote concept. Leaders would have to be appointed by a super committee or something like that.
Amazing sometimes how people as smart as this are unable to see through to the logical conclusion.
