You still sadly cling to the notion that the system is not dysfunctional, that there’s still a functioning Constitution, and that somehow good will triumph.
This is called, “Normalcy Bias”. The naive, Pollyanna mindset that all will be restored to chocolate rivers and children playing with gumdrop smiles, if we can just hold out until the next selection cycle.
I submit MOST of the country has an acute case of Normalcy Bias.
And it will end up being fatal.
According to the lessons of history, defeating the enemies of the Republic cannot happen by any civil means available to us or by any civil means we seek to establish.
A civil society requires a two-way street of respect for the law. That no longer exists.
The rulers no longer respect the law, and have declared they will decree what the law is and how it is to be imposed on We The Subjects.

Let’s work to elect the most conservative candidates we can and win the House and Senate. That’s the critical part. Obama is a symptom, not the cause of our woes. Go back and read some of the threads about Clinton’s abuses. It was the end of America then, too.
Bush came in and we didn’t get him to change a thing. He didn’t chop out a single agency, etc. Now we know better and we have a massive debt which calls for cuts and consolidation. We can do it, but it will take time - a generation at least.

What purpose does a “bigger” Republican Party have to restoring the Core Values that our sorry Congressional RINOs have refused to defend by their cave-in, doormat votes to their effective boss Obama?
Senator Paul does not recognize the there has been for the past 5 years virtually no effective difference between the Congressional RINO and Democrat Leaderships.
Thus, a really “Big” Republican Party will just make for more really big cave-ins to Democrats, IMHO.
Congressional RINO Leadership has proven to be incompetent for the last five years.
Replacing Congressional RINO Leadership with fire-in-the-belly Republicans such as Trey Gowdy would do more to give us Conservative voters a reason to vote FOR Republican Candidates, regardless of how “big” the Republican Party becomes.
Paul is concerned about assembling an army and THEN mounting a steady trend to tolerance.
We are asking ALL of the Republicans to fight with what you have NOW, and to fight to the last man/woman!
