Dickinson is a fool but he does illuminate the liberal mind at work and his notions are not his own but the latest wrinkle coming in the 'gun control' crusade. Watch for rats to start trying to push these concepts in your state.

Gun owners are like little kids right now. They all the rights but none of the responsibility (sic). Go off yourself, liberal.

Yup.
If you sell someone a car and they drive drunk in it and kill someone, then you should be held responsible.

"In another tweet, Dickinson said that anyone who sells a gun should be responsible if that weapon is used in a crime, making a comparison to bar owners who sell alcohol to those who drink and drive."
Bar owners are only responsible if they sell alcohol to an obviously intoxicated person who causes damage by immediately going out and drinking and driving. Anyone selling or deliveriong a gun to an obviously intoxicated person would already be equally liable under existing negligence law for damages that intoxicated person caused with the gun received.

Mike Dickinson, a Virginia Democrat needs to treated like a spoiled little girl with the tax payers credit card.

What describes the whole religion of liberalism better than a bunch of immature brats wanting “freedom” with none of the responsibilities of paying for their choices?
That’s the whole appeal of liberalism - “you do what you want and someone else will pay for it”.

Please tell us more, this is too good.

I have come to the conclusion that the only way to turn society back to a sane view of gun ownership is to adopt the Swiss model of an “assault” weapon being issued by the state to every homeowner between the ages of 18 and 60 who is not:
- a convicted felon
- conscientious objector
- disabled to the point of not being able to operate the firearm
- ruled mentally incompetent.

This stupidity should cost him some votes.

He also suggested every state have the same gun control laws. Excellent idea!
All states should follow the Vermont model for Concealed Carry!

Yup. And if you issue somebody a driver’s license, and the driver subsequently injures a person, the license issuer should be held liable.
