....
But amid the post-rollout political backlash, last week the agency created a new category: Now all you need to do is fill out a form attesting that your plan was cancelled and that you "believe that the plan options available in the [ObamaCare] Marketplace in your area are more expensive than your cancelled health insurance policy" or "you consider other available policies unaffordable."
This lax standardno formula or hard test beyond a person's beliefat least ostensibly requires proof such as an insurer termination notice. But people can also qualify for hardships for the unspecified nonreason that "you experienced another hardship in obtaining health insurance," which only requires "documentation if possible." And yet another waiver is available to those who say they are merely unable to afford coverage, regardless of their prior insurance. In a word, these shifting legal benchmarks offer an exemption to everyone who conceivably wants one.

No, this is the “reason” to justify not paying for the fees for obo’s obsession when you register for obocare..

The Buck stops at Obamas Desk.
Impeach Hussein Obama in 2014, PERIOD.
In Islam, the husband only has to say “I divorce you” three times...and he magically is.
Sounds a lot like Obamacare.
Impeaching him is not enough. Removing him is the best outcome. Unfortunately, it will never happen with a democratic senate.
They will never convict him there.
Removal is dependent on prior Impeachment.
I assume, you still can not be turned down for insurance, so, there is no point having insurance until you need it.

Anyone find a link to this form? Where is it?
I need to form it you find it.
Sure, if you can wait 9 months from April 1 for the ACA-compliant plan to take effect.
“This is important information for anyone not wanting to pay the obamacare fine/penalty/tax/shared-responsibility-fee.”
This is not necessarily a “new category. “
Read the analysis of Obamacare at findlaw.com going back three years ago.
Written into the law (as opposed to an executive order) is a caveat that if Obamacare plans are as much as ten percent of your income you are exempt. This is, in fact, a major part of why conservative states refused to set up the subsidized exchanges.
“I assume, you still can not be turned down for insurance, so, there is no point having insurance until you need it.”
Except you can sign up only during an annual “window” but not after that, though there are many specific “hardship” exceptions that many people could fit through if they have to. For example, if one found out they were going to die without expensive treatment, it might be worth getting a temporary divorce to qualify for that exception.
“Anyone find a link to this form? Where is it?”
Form won’t be operative until end of 2104 tax year, because that will be the first year you have to file information on your tax forms regarding your health insurance status.
So Obamacare is just Obamacrap to Obamacrats who are trying to get reelected. Put it all off until the feminine fairy is forced out of office, and then hand it out as toilet paper for Democrats in the minority party. It ought to last them for a couple of sessions, even though they are full of..., you know, stinky poop.
me: “I IMPEACH HIM. I IMPEACH HIM. I IMPEACH HIM.”
now, going back to sleep, hoping for the BEST magic upon waking up!
thank you for the reply and information

I saw an article (thought it was on Hot Air) & haven’t been able to find it again right now ..... if I read/understood it right, the article was saying that Sebelius/HHS want you to think you can only sign up in a particular enrollment “window” & the deadline is fast approaching, but that is for plans on the government exchange. Obviously, they’re trying to exert as much coercive pressure as they can to get enrollments up now. What they are not being forthcoming about is that you can sign up off-exchange, with private insurance, at any time.
Here’s a link I did find that says the same:
http://www.bankrate.com/finance/insurance/how-will-health-insurance-mandate-work.aspx
“While consumers can purchase health coverage anytime through the private market, those who wish to take advantage of the more affordable and subsidized offerings in the state marketplaces will need to do so during open enrollment, which began Oct. 1 and runs through March 31, 2014.”
They’ll shut this down right quick.
Just you watch.
