John McCain Is Going To Ukraine
Zero Hedge ^ | 12 March 2014 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 03/12/2014 3:41:00 PM PDT by Errant

. Three weeks ago, John Kerry came, saw, and launched a blitz-diplomatic campaign which promptly resulted in, well, Russia annexing Crimea.

Now it is the turn of that other foreign policy titan, neo-con John McCain, to complete Kerry's job and finally launch the GDP-boosting World War III. He may have the chance to do that as soon as Thursday, when he, along with other senators, is slated to travel to Ukraine to "show support for the government there." Or, said otherwise, to show support for the government that is in power thanks to an illegitimate and deadly coup that took place just over two weeks ago, despite the formal signing of a memorandum, endorsed by all Western powers, that stipulated a peaceful transition as well as presidential elections in the coming months. When presented like that, one almost thinks back to the roaring success that was the US endorsement of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood regime (where the US too had zero involvement, repeat zero involvement) that also took over following a violent coup. As well as the largely predictable countercoup that overthrew said regime.

First Kerry and now McCain. At this rate, we may be able to laugh Putin to death.

Just one more incentive for Putin to start the fireworks there?

I posted another article about Putin amazing troops, tanks and aircraft on the Ukrainian border, and I just saw another report claiming 86,000 Russian troops are on the border now?

McCain should maybe move up his plans before he misses out on all of the fun.

Lol, we need to scuttle that particular ship and turn everything back over to the States. It was a stupid idea to begin with.

Yes. Even some govt activities or programs that I can support certainly don’t belong at the federal level but rather at the state or local levels. For sure

I hope the states are ready to take over when the federal government collapses. I know some are making preparations, like Texas, Utah, and a few more.

I may be in a minority on this but I don’t see it so clearly that the fed govt will collapse anytime soon. It might but as long as people keep loaning it money it keeps getting the fuel to keep on.

Ukraine will be relegated to be a landlocked Country, and mainly used to safely transport Oil and Gas out of Russia.

Russia has a long history of feeling secure when it has friendly or neutral Nations on its periphery.

Ukraine has had the misfortune of a corrupt President who robbed them into poverty.

While Obamanation is descending, Russia is ascending: Russia is now free to do what is best for Russia.

A Neutral Ukraine would reduce risk to the Oil and Gas pipelines that are used by Russia in Ukraine.

Ukraine could then become the Switzerland of the Eastern Front for Europe.

It's true that everyone misjudged just how long they've been able to continue propping up the house of cards. Eventually though, it will collapse under its own weight.

Currently the government must borrow almost half of its operating revenue and over half of this borrowed money now is printed out of "thin air" by the Fed since the market for our bonds isn't like it used to be. So the Fed is now the one loaning the most money to the treasury. Something that would have been unheard of only a few short years ago.

Meanwhile the cost of running the government is rising exponentially. It's fate is sealed IMO, and it's just a matter of time now before a collapse occurs unless we can figure some other way out of this mess we're in.

GOOD—Maybe he will be there when the balloon goes up! Maybe a Russian T-90 tank will roll over him. This is the most gutsy thing Juan has done in a while—Would that Obama was as brave.

Understood. I’ve heard it said its amazing anyone would loan them one thin dime. And if it’s running half on Monopoly money already, it may not have long for this world........

And if Russia and China begin dumping the bonds they're holding now, it's going to get ugly really fast.

We're living in a glass house and trying to throw stones...

Yeah, way too many bad actors on the world stage for sure. What were the American people thinking when they put these morons in charge?! They must have not been thinking about their future or the future of their children.
