Obesity has known and growing adverse effects on our economy due to the rising costs of health care. Does the Government then have the right to tell us what foods we can eat?
Yes, good question. I think it’s important to narrow the question down to the Federal government though, because the states have a lot more leeway than the Feds as to what they can regulate. We can tolerate that easier because at least we can move to another state if some choose to go too far.
