legalizing weed is a big mistake . Penalties should not be draconian because it is not that serious of an issue , but it is a social detriment . The biggest problem is that it tends to turn people into Liberal voting progressive airheads

Gee, you call people a bunch of names, support low IQ thugs dressed like ninjas and armed with sub-machine guns raiding their homes, and you wonder why they won't throw in with you and yours on election day. Yeah, I wouldn't have seen that kind of reaction coming. [/sarcasm]

I did say “ not draconian “
crack down on the Mex cartel types and leave the passive locals alone .
As I once heard a judge say “ people think of marijuana as a victimless crime , but they do not see the issue from my perspective ; almost always linked in with other more detrimental drugs , other crimes and particularly domestic violence .

Send SWAT after the cartels is fine .
By the way , have you ever smelled a big grow of chronic ?
Road-kill skunk or some decomposing dead thing . How about people all over the place generating the smell of burning tires in public? The smell of tobbacy ain’t nuthin compared with the smell of the other stuff .
Relegate it to old folks ( and others ) that are dying , and who won’t be voting for long .
