He doesn’t have to - another planted caller MIRACULOUSLY made it through to talk about the book, her son, etc.

Given the millions of busy signals handed out over the years, the odds are just incredible that so many book-related calls would get through. Rush and his entire team should buy lottery tickets tonight as they apparently have the ability to suspend the laws of probability.

Until then, he can rely on those who a) think the book is an interesting topic, b) that it should occupy a significant chunk of the show for days and weeks on end, c) think that those who decry the replacement of content with advertising is not only justified but that they should act as self-appointed foot soldiers fighting off ‘trolls’ who are merely pointing out the obvious dropoff in the standard of the show.
