If these calls went all the way to the phone, then there is a record to trace which cell phone tower the phones were using, which would pinpoint the phones pretty close. Even if these call didn't make it, but the phones were active, and the plane is landed somewhere, there almost certainly would be a tower nearby that would pick up a ping. I think someone knows where the plane is.
Some people have been watching too many movies.
People were speculating early on whether the passengers had time to place cell calls should there have been a mechanical emergency. Useless over the ocean, of course, but now being told the aircraft circled back over land for a length of time, it adds the possibility that cell phones were collected prior to the “hard left” and prior to the transponder being shut off, which could mean activity was occurring very early into the flight.
I have a theory that whenever there is an incident leftist groups float conspiracy theories as a distraction and to create confusion.
It crashed (for whatever reason)
or it didn't.
If it Crashed, either:
Mechanical/electronic failure
Pilot error
Intentional loss of the aircraft, including shoot down.
If it didn't:
Hijacked
Stolen.
Aliens (just kidding).
That the plane crashed, for whatever reason, is possible. If in the ocean, the debris field would have to be located. On land (for instance the central highlands in Nam) the wreckage may be masked by terrain or jungle.
That it was stolen or hijacked, and diverted to another location is also a possibility.
What needs to be examined are the range of the aircraft, and possible destinations.
Bandar Aceh airport has enough runway to land, refuel, and take off fully laden. I would suspect other airfields in range of the aircraft at the time it went off the radar would also be able to provide the same facilities, but the problem is one of getting in and out with a 'hot' plane. This would require cooperation at some level, or some sort of clandestine operation all around.
Meh. No one found Amelia Earhart, either.
The BIG problem/issue here is that the Indonesian military knew immediately that the plane had veered off course, yet for TWO DAYS let searchers waste their time looking hundreds of miles in a different direction..
Jimmy Hoffa has the 777 at his secret island compound.
Those who compare this to WWII era lost planes, or the fifties or even sixties, crack me up.
Why not talk about the wagon trains that got lost and vanished crossing Utah or Nevada in the 1800’s?
A 777 can’t go missing today. It’s impossible with modern tracking systems and embedded computers and satellite monitoring and everything else.
It took the Malaysian Air Force four days to realize they had it tracked across the peninsula into the Andaman Sea? Yeah, right.
The inescapable fact is that the PTB know what happened to it, and they’re not talking.
And oh BTW, they don’t talk about UFOs, either.
So it’s not that those dots must be connected.
But they can be connected.
I’m quite convinced something happened.
the ringing cellphone and logged into accounts can happen. you see people logging in and online all the time but they are not.
as for the ringing phones after a bit of reading it appears there is a series of events that can happen to allow phones to ring even when they are not.
so for example (from what i have read), if you were sitting on the tarmac and forgot to turn off your phone the network logs you into a cell tower. as you leave that cell tower it expects you to be connect to another tower but you dont as you head out to sea. you appear online but no call can connect BUT you are still registered online.
also apparently and i didnt know this but if your phone receives a sudden shock while connected and the battery is disconnected the cell tower and systems dont register you offline. so if you ring its the exchange ringing (the last one you connected with), not the the phone. so the phones have a number of reasons for ringing but they are not.
i am amazed no one has tried tracking the phones to see where they were last since they flew over populated areas, they would reconnect to the towers. also i wonder did the plane have wifi or cellphone coverage, if so it would be easier to track its location to within a mile or so.
A plane hijacking is not a conspiracy theory.
For some reason this writer wants us to think that anything other than the plane disintegrating is absolutely not worthy of sane consideration. And then she has the gall to state the known fact that the plane completely reversed course from its intended destination...a clear sign that something unususal was happening.
She even lists suicide on her list....when such a thing has happened before. And “hijacking” a conspiracy theory? Has anyone told this lady about the World Trade Center?
I just listened to an expert of Fox say that if the plane turned off its tracking equipment and then flew at a low altitude that it would be virtually untrackable.
Hijackers could have taken the plane and then crash it, intentionally or through bad navigation or fuel decisions.
