National Treasure was ok. I’ve never seen Capt. Correli’s Mandolin.
Although I’ve watched a lot of Nick Cage films, I finally grew tired of his projects. The last movie I saw was The Family Man and that was a few years ago. I viewed a portion of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and just was not impressed.
After his bankruptcy woes, I thought he wasted a lot of opportunities through complete irresponsibility.
Actually I thought “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”, was his best movie. Penelope Cruz could easily pass as a Greek Island girl and she played the role well.
When they finally turned on the Nazis, it showed their courage but also showed the Nazis beating the crap out of them with a well oiled military machine which would have been historically accurate.
