Poland and Baltics feel heat from Crimea

Russia's move into part of Ukraine has caused genuine unease in neighbouring countries like Poland and the three Baltic states and a sense that they also are under threat.

Poland's leaders have played down the danger, repeatedly reassuring the public.

During an event to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Poland joining Nato on Monday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he saw no direct threat to his country, a view echoed by Poland's President Bronislaw Komorowski.

But there is a widespread sense of insecurity in Poland. In an opinion poll last week, 59% of respondents believed Russia's foreign policy presented a threat to Poland's security.

Modern electronic keyboards make it easier, though.

You freaking idiots.
Anyone who doesn’t agree with you must be from “Soviet Union”.

I won’t waste more time on stoopid.
Buh-bye

Be careful when getting the newspaper this morning.

Polish Special Forces are rappelling onto a building nearby.

They wouldn’t be so nervous if they followed the Swiss model of citizen militia. They need a strong, clear American style 2nd Amendment.

Then toss in a dynamic energy mix like nuclear, natural gas and coal. Dependency grows naturally from socialism.

Why give them that? It just another military welfare handout from the USA. It allows them to keep their anti-liberty gun laws on the books. If every Pole had a handgun and a rifle, along with the ammo for both, they wouldn’t be afraid.

Their socialist policies have made them totally dependent on a single, nationalistic and corrupt source of energy. Sometimes fear and pain are good things. They cause change. Europe needs to grow up, cut back on its luxury living style and invest in a little self-defense.

The US being guided by top world globalists at the moment. It’s pretty scary.

“The US being guided by top world globalists at the moment. It’s pretty scary.”

“Vent my folly!” - William Shakespeare

After the fall of Soviet Union, US and NATO believed that they owned the world and acted accordingly, in a ruthless way; reckless interventions destabilized the whole planet Earth.

And here they stumble upon a tough bone they can’t chew at - V.Putin. They can’t make war to him - he has nukes. They can’t use the gimmick tool UN against him, he has veto power. They can’t blackmail him, he keeps Europe by its energy needs’ balls. They can’t ruin him, Russia’s soil and under ground being filthy rich, with only 10% of this richness exploited. Wait until Putin industrialises Siberia.

Besides , he’s got on his side the rising economy stars India and China.

I see the end of NATO and of the European Community in a forseeable future.

A Polish soldier sees a Nazi charging toward him from one direction and a Red Army liberator coming at him from another.

He’s asked which he would shoot first. He answers that he’d shoot the German first. Why? Business before pleasure.

Putin is running rings around the West at the moment. He is in a position to do pretty much whatever he wants.

They also beat your beloved Russians in 1921. Stopped them before they could turn Europe Communist. They wanted to rearm in the 30’s also, but were talked out of it by Britain and France who guaranteed their safety.
