The government has succeeded in playing god to the point that it has become the defacto highest moral authority in the land and the final judge for what is truth. How else to explain the legalization of lies like “same sex” marriage. If such a thing were true it would not need the modifier nor the iron fist of a thug government to force validation.

Many preachers have soft sermons and refuse to take a stand on abominations fearing they might offend. Very few seem to preach straight out of the Bible. From Leviticus to many places in the new testament the word of God is clear.
