I disagree with jail, but this woman needs to learn a lesson. When you give creatures (or people) free stuff, they become emboldened and want more of it.

My friend lives out in the country, and he has a neighbor who always puts out bird seed and corn so the deer can feed off of it. One day a half-dozen of them or so came up to his patio and started becoming aggressive when there was no food there and caused damage to his door and yard.
