The flight was tracked across Malaysia and intercepted by the Malaysian Air Force over the Straits of Malacca. The plane was repeatedly ordered to land. Whoever was in control of the cockpit ignored the order and the plane suddenly began to turn south toward Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Air Force pilots receive a shootdown order, to avert a possible suicide attack on KL. 777
Interesting. But while all this was going on, wouldn't those on the flight deck be squawking to ATC and anyone else on various frequencies?
Would no one hear the exchanges and radio chatter?

I think the Pilot and Copilot were muzzies, so they would have been in on a plan. Or dead.

ATCs wouldn’t have been squawked if it was an inside job and the pilot and copilot were in on it ....
And tell the pax they have to divert for mechanical reasons, etc.
