Rand and Cruz are busy trying to distinguish themselves from one another, and thats fine.

I hope they don’t get too bitter, though, because at the end of it they may be running mates. The only question between now and then is, who leads the ticket. Cruz/Paul. Cruz/Palin?

Cruz/Anyone would suit me.

It’s too early for Cruz to run for POTUS. He can and will do a lot more good with a Senate majority!

I'd even vote Cruz/Walker.

“I hope they don’t get too bitter, though, because at the end of it they may be running mates.”

I will vote for Cruz, but not if he has Rand Paul as a running mate. I WILL NOT allow that man to get near being POTUS. He is a wackadoodle just like his nutcase daddy.

He is NOT a conservative Republican....he is a Libertarian and IF he had any integrity he would run as a Libertarian and stop screwing up the GOP. I despise Paul and his Libertarian faction as much as I do the GOP establishment that gave us Romney.

I am a Social/Moral Conservative Republican, and I want a presidential candidate that FULLY shares my values and goals.

It’s never too early for Republicans to take their eyes off the ball and start shooting at each other.

They’ll never run Palin. The left has done too good a job destroying her.

And it won’t be Cruz and Paul because there is not enough ‘diversity.’

It will either be Cruz + white female, black male, black female. His running mate will run a little more to the independent/moderate side to balance out the ‘extremism’ that the left is painting him with.

Or

Paul + Latino male, Latino female, black female, black male. His running mate will run a little more to the socially conservative side to balance out the “Libertarian” that the left is painting him with.

I think it is disgusting that demographics have taken over politics, but it has.

Oh.... So much to say and so little time...
Personally I do not care much for either Rand or his father Ron. Both live in a bubble and spew forth their naivety when it comes to world politics and the spiritual matters that drive those politics and Rand isn't willing to cut the head of the snake off when it comes to our economic policies. He is a milquetoast when addressing how to fix our current economic problems. He thinks that there is a softer, gentler way of fixing the problems than simply slashing and burning all the bureaucratic programs that are sucking the life out of our economy. On the battle field there is NO easy way to fix a gangrous limb than to cut it off. Our social programs are nothing short of gangrous and need to be cut off. PERIOD!
I suspect Ron probably feels similarly to Rand but I think he's more about fixing our economic problems by slashing our military and ending all foreign aide. Another, in my opinion, idiotic solution to fixing our economic problems that Rand has eluded to endorsing. In any event Cruz, so far, is been the only man I've seen with the balls to stand up for his principles and do what he said he would do. Sarah Palin is another person with the balls to do what she said she would do. I believe that Cruz understands the perils our nation faces both domestically and abroad. Rand is neither Ted or Sarah.

Sorry to inject others into the discussion about Rand and Ted but I wanted to make the case that there are much better people out there to lead this nation than Rand Paul.
