I don’t use the diesel.

The governor came out and called the legislation “bipartisan” supported by “business” and “labor”...

The Democrat leaders joined the the GOP ones to ram it through.

The road repair and highway construction that the tax pays for will be done by business interests that support the GOP mainly and labor unions that mainly support the Democrats. In the mass transit organizations the the new taxes go to labor union members drive the buses and trains.

Yeah...they use the same issues and talking points here as well.

It's either hit the fuel taxes, the booze taxes, the soda taxes or tax the air we breathe. Eventually they will come full circle and go back to the income taxes...then the sales taxes....and so on...

I firmly believe that eventually it will all blow up....

Cutting benefits is not something either party will do, especially not the Dem's..

I am not familiar enough with your transport issues to comment..but you need to watch the buggers so that they don't transfer the money to the general funds account.. Lets see if your governor will now trim some other taxes and expenses....Now that transport needs are funded..I would if I were him...
