For someone commenting on a national news channel (even FNC) to call the gay lifestyle “repugnant” is certainly going to draw some enemy fire. I don’t know if, however, what she is saying is something that hasn’t been better stated many times over to seemingly deaf ears.
Although I agree with Trotta here, I can never forget how astonishingly vile she’s been towards Palin through the years. Besides the calling of Trig as an “it,” and her accusations of Palin using him as a political prop, I also recall her grinning from ear-to-ear over that discredited, lie-filled, poison-pen book that McGinniss wrote, turning on a grotesquely faux sincerity and waxing what a “gooood” and professional reporter McGinniss was. Trotta never misses an opportunity to trash Palin.
In fact, after one too many times of these incidents, I stopped watching FoxNews on Sunday mornings altogether. Haven’t tuned in for a single minute for well over a year. Wasn’t even sure Trotta was still on.
These days the media and rats act like “coming out” is like being a hero who saved lives or something. It's ridiculous.

Here is a slightly better version.

Sound is much better.
Sort of reminds me of Paul Harvey’s classic 1965 “If I Were the Devil” essay.
Great commentary by Liz. I've read her for years before Fox wisely handed her a commentary spot, on "Conservative Chronicle."
As to the posters denigrating Liz, having been a delegate to the '08 Convention, I never heard nor read anything like what you state. I'm not saying that she didn't say anything like it or the rest that is posted here, just that I never caught it, not being in a position to watch Fox except up at their box from the Convention floor and reading the dailies every day.
I'd have been furious at her, had I ever heard about such statements or read about them. As enough of you here on FR, say that you did, I'm assuming that it was all first hand commentary.
Hopefully, I'll do some searches and find them as nothing disappears on the internet, except, of course, BHO's birth certificate, his parent's marriage record, College papers, grades, etc., Bill Clinton's records and Hilalry's college dissertation!
Hopefully, I haven’t made myself persona non grata to some folks here.
I had no idea that this woman (Liz Trotta) had said or done any of the things which have been attributed to her about Sarah Palin or Trig.
I have only heard her three or four times on Fox and thought that this commentary was worth posting.
I Really like Sarah Palin and would never support someone who would belittle her son Trig.
She said that "many Americans still find the homosexual lifestyle repugnant." You can't say that that her statement is false! And who the heck cares what the "enemy" thinks of it?
She also said, among other things, "When was the last time you saw an American flag at a Puerto Rican Day parade?" She was in essence referring to a sense of general loss of common American values amongst some racial and ethnic groups in the country, which has a lot of validity, but I'm not sure about the specific absence or presence of American flags at such events. (More to the point,I don't think you would ever see an American flag - except being burned or mutilated in some way - at a La Raza event.)
There was also a remark about the overloading of women in the government foreign relations establishment in deference to Affirmative Action, resulting in a more wimpy stance toward enemy regimes.
All of these are courageously defiant of the doctrine of "political correctness" on the airwaves. I should hope that Liz Tratta's corporate employer doesn't cower to leftist complaints about what she said and doesn't take retaliatory action against her.
Thank you so much for your insights, dear justiceseeker93!

Very good commentary. Thanks for posting.
I’ve always liked Liz Trotta.
It’s nice to see a lady commentator over 20 not made up to look like a sex bomb- although Liz is still very attractive.
As for Liz calling Sarah’s baby ‘it’, from watching old movies, etc. it seems it was once a common thing back then to call a baby ‘it’.
I wouldn’t condemn Liz for this. JMHO.

I wanted to send an email response to the both of you for your very welcome emails.
When trying, it says that my account is too new to use this feature (reply to email).
I’ll just say Thank You here and to the rest of you good folks who responded to my first post.
(just curious if I’ve done the ‘ping’ thing correctly?) 8)
Thank You
What she said was that many Americans still find the homosexual lifestyle repugnant. (Which is just as true as saying the Pope is Catholic.)
You’re welcome, FRiend.
