Each makes it a point to say that this very person is a core essential for the survival of Western culture, no less. That's said, they are in my opinion merely intellectually deconstructed/reconstructed libertarian/libertine liberals -- not conservatives.
You see, for all that, how is then that these women do not seek out that kind of man themselves for that most intimate of social company and instead remain the avowed lesbians that they are? Neither claims that for all their intellectual brilliance either of them are on a way back from that mental illness, "lezbrilliance".
Miss M: perhaps you have an Upper West-Sider's somewhat unique view on this that might help to edify the discussion, given your physical proximity to the preponderance of these "proclivitoids" -- and some who may even call themselves "conservatives"?
What am I missing? I remain suspect of both Paglia and Bruce.
FReegards!
Paglia has never claimed to be a conservative. She’s just good on some common sense issues - like letting boys be boys. And, of course, her brilliant take on the arts, which is basically nonpolitical. Tammy Bruce does, I believe, consider herself a conservative. She also doesn’t make a big deal of her lesbianism, thank God. I also respect the Gay Patriot blog - a group of gay men who are fighting the gay agenda tooth and nail. They are tough hombres!
I’m not sure you are missing anything.
