She is right. We do need change. While I don’t believe in warning shots, nobody should get 60 years for doing so. I'm familiar with that case. I don't think the jury thought Marissa Alexander fired a warning shot into the wall near her husband's head. I think they decided she meant to hit him and missed, and then claimed it was a warning shot.
