Twenty-four hours after Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared over the South China Sea, the only clue to the fate of its 239 passengers and crew was the revelation that at least two people on board were using stolen passports. The disclosure raised fears that terrorists could have used the passport to board the craft, which vanished with no prior signals of trouble to air traffic controllers.
Those fears increased when Malaysian authorities said they were investigating the identities of two other passengers on board the aircraft. The four under suspicion had all bought their flight tickets through China Southern Airlines, said a security official.

It won't matter. The lib's will rationalize it as a sacrifice for the better good. Liberal, Progressive is a mental disorder.
Probably some discontents who lost folks in the World Trade Center bombings......paging Liam Neeson..
Had a friend with a business in Roanoke. When Obama was elected, he walking in his employee parking lot and jotted down the plates of those who had O bumper stickers. When business went bad, they were the first to receive pink slips.
Planes can and do disappear. Not often, but it does happen. It took five days to find the first debris from AF447. They are still finding wreckage from aircraft lost in the jungle during the Vietnam War. Ships sink without a trace. This airplane is probably on the bottom of the Gulf of Thailand. Some debris may still be on the surface that can reveal the crash site. It won’t be easy to find.

How was that determination made? And by whom?

Some interesting questions in the above blog post, which go toward your theory that in some way that flight to China was particularly important as a target.
The 9-11 jihadists' goal was not merely to destroy the airplanes, but to take them over and crash them into infidel targets. For that you need enough muscle to get your at least semi-trained pilot into the cockpit in place of the crew. If the goal is just to blow up the airplane, one person should suffice. Actually, you don't even need one person aboard, unless you are into Allah and suicide and all that.
Seriously....in case one can not get on board???
Then you try again on a later flight with a different suicide guy.
....in case it takes several people to bring the parts on board for the explosive device to pass security??? etc.
Maybe. But have we actually seen any cases in which the explosive is manufactured on board from separate innocent parts? Or are they just theoretical threats DHS types dream up while sitting around conference tables?
Care to share a bit of the truth here on FR?
From the very beginning, I've believed it was shot down - too many eye witnesses to the upward rocket trail.
Consisting of 12 Malaysians and eight Chinese. Doesn't sound like a team devoted to US defense.
Just curious. Does anybody have an idea of how many people travel under a false(stolen) passport? I would think it would be pretty common on flights from Malaysia to China.
Just curious. Who on the passenger manifest had seats in First Class?
You have mail.
“jotted down the plates of those who had O bumper stickers. When business went bad, they were the first to receive pink slips.”
We do the same thing. Our studio has specific lots for visitors that when we look out our window, we see the license plate and of course, the stickers. We already decided to do it again this November..(yeah, we’re mean rightwing pricks)
Yeah, that'd show him.
Presumably the Malaysian authorities will check out the airport employees who had access to the plane. If this was a bombing it does not HAVE to be suiciders who implemented it.
Of course, since this was a Boeing airplane it could have been the center wing fuel tank-——they go boom constantly don’t they?
At 500 kts? You got to be nuts. If it did stay together which it wouldn't, how fast do you think that baby would have snap rolled with one wing? There would be lucky to have any heads attached after that.
Dumped fuel? Below a thousand feet so it actually gets to the ground. Already had some consumption, so better be careful you don't dump too much, because you got 3200 nm to go low level to evade radar and be consuming mass quantities of fuel. If you're right, they should be looking for the crash in the Indian Ocean.
I don’t think it matters what their nationality is/was. The company they worked for designed and produced embedded microprocessor chips, some for our US defense system - as in missiles, etc.
Those 20 employees might be of some value - alive - to terrorists who might want to take down our grid. Or something..
I also think it is on the ground somewhere but my theory is that the employees of Freescale were the reason the plane was hijacked.
