Because all of the other western powers hate Israel too.
Because Bibi knows that no other nation is so foolish as to negotiate a “peace” with a party (the PLA) whose aim is to kill or drive out all members of the other party (Israel).
Moreover, while the PLA has almost no power in the first place, Hamas and Hezbollah (funded and supported by Iran) have all the power and military - they are not at the table, as both are committed to the absolute destruction of Israel and will broker no peace whatsoever. Everyone knows this, even the US which uses the ‘peace process’ to take over the news cycle and away from other matters. Right now this ‘news story’ is fighting to draw as much attention in the cycle as possible away from the Ukraine.
