This is meaningless, half the voters were under 30 years old. That is a group who don’t show up at the polls.
Also, the Paul’s push legalized marijuana which may account for Paul’s popularity with the Pothead vote.
I like Ted Cruz, but he doesn’t inherit Pauliacs.

I don’t have use for Ron Paul and that transfers to his son Rand. I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR RAND PAUL in either a primary or general election. I will stay home in 2016 if that fool gets the nomination. I should have stayed home rather than vote for Romney...but to my shame I did vote for him. I will not repeat that mistake.
Romney was the GOPe candidate and should not have gotten any support from a true conservative Republican.
Rand Paul is a Libertarian (Not a real Republican) and he should not get a true conservative Republican’s support. He will not get mine.
I am through voting for persons that do not represent me.....even remotely.

It is only meaningless if your guy/gal is losing. If your guy/gal is winning then it is foretelling of future events.
If Palin had won it would not be meaningless. If Cruz had won it would not be meaningless. If Christie had won, then it would be meaningless.
