Russia may stop fulfilling arms treaty commitments and block U.S. military inspections from checking its nuclear weapons in response to Washington's move to suspend military cooperation with Moscow, Russian agencies reported Saturday citing an unnamed official in Russia's defense ministry.
The official said that threats from U.S. and North Atlantic Treaty Organization directed toward Russia are perceived as "an unfriendly gesture" and allow the country "to declare force majeure conditions."
The official said that inspection of nuclear weapons is based on trust and Moscow can't have bilateral contacts with the U.S. as the latter has de facto announced sanctions against Russia.
Earlier this week Washington suspended military cooperation with Russia following dissent over the situation in Ukraine. U.S. President Barack Obama signed an executive order to impose sanctions against people...

That won't be a problem because Obama has more flexibility now.
Never touch the reset button.
It's not Bambi's fault. Putin is too dumb to understand high level diplomacy.
Just saying, but, if Romney were POTUS today.........would this be happening?
Russia is not going to give NATO access to its military installations if its sanctioned.
The loser of course will be the West over an issue its not going to go to war over.
Mutually beneficial relations will suffer because NATO needs to “show the flag.” As if Russia cares about NATO strutting its manhood.
Ahhh...a more complete picture emerges.
This is one event that cannot be blamed upon Obama, Bush, or Clinton. The blame belongs directly to Putin and the people of Russia, who gave Putin a 70 percent approval rating this week. The Cold War was never actually ended by Russia. Putin and Russia only suspended the Cold War and only in part until Russia had used Western economic and technical support to repair the Russian economy enough to resume the suspended Cold War hostilities. Four out of five Russians still live a fantasy worldview in which the United States and Western nations are an evil for Russians to fear and for Russians to make war upon. They blame most of their problems upon the West and refuse to look at or acknowledge their own failings, as happened after the submarine, Kursk, self destructed.
I don’t know, but the RomneyCare website would’ve ran a lot smoother and we’d all be on it by now (and paying) or facing harsh tax penalties. And Romney’s more efficient IRS would collect. Romney loves mandates.
NATO strutting its manhood would involve large-scale military exercises near Russian borders and ICBM tests. (Come to think of it - isn't that what Russia was and has been doing before and during its current military adventure?) These are just limp-wristed pro forma sanctions, done so Obama can't be accused of completely ignoring the Anschluss under way.
It belongs to the Obama idiots running foreign policy and destroying our military capabilities. Obama is a 98 pound weakling and Putin knows it.
OBAMAFAIL!
There is a WORLD of difference between Democrat party apparatchiks like Obama and Hitlery and the people in the Republican party.
The Republican leadership, in many instances, must and OUGHT to be replaced...but that party is, in my opinion, salvageable.
The Democrats? Adrift in a sea of infanticide, sodomy, and the welfare state....an utterly pathetic barge, bereft of hope and life....
The blame can equally be shared by the gutless RINOs in the US Congress who have encouraged the actions of the traitor currently residing in the white hut.
Why would anyone expect a different outcome?
Don’t worry, the One will double down and make for the Russkies.
Yup...sucks that our brilliant leaders have already dismantled most of our own nukes and filled in our silos.
IIRC, Thad (I’ve thad enough!) Cochran voted for this travesty of a bill during a lame duck session a couple years ago.
Yes, a new cold war...for nothing but Obama's ego.
