The search for a commercial jetliner that seemingly vanished without warning between Malaysia and Vietnam continued into the night as dark fell on Asia, officials said.

For instance, after the airline released a manifest, Austria denied that one of its citizens was onboard the flight as the list stated. The Austrian citizen was safe and sound, and his passport had been stolen two years ago, Austrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Weiss told CNN.
Similarly, Italy's foreign ministry confirmed that no Italians were onboard MH370, even though an Italian was listed on the manifest. Malaysian officials said they were aware of reports that the Italian's passport was also stolen, but had not confirmed it.

Lots of radical Muslims in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Targeting who? Chinese?
OMG!!
I Barry really on vacation or did he sneak out unnoticed during the Crisis.
Will Malaysia resort to strip searching it’s citizens?
America has some used naked scanners, we could sell them. They won’t detect a bomb, but they are great entertainment for security personnel.
Religion of peace showing it’s peaceful side again?
I Barry really on vacation or did he sneak out unnoticed during the Crisis.
Correction:
IS Barry on vacation?
Why not? Look at what those Muslims did with the mass stabbing.
We can only hope he was using a stolen passport.
Anything or anyone else ‘interesting’ / ‘significant’ / etc on the passenger manifest list?
Two on the same flight?
And nobody at passport control noticed they were stolen(they weren’t on a computer list somewhere)?
Really, really poor security; or else cooperation by officials at the airport? (That’s not impossible.)
All speculative, of course.
The two travelers with phony documents may just been criminals of some sort, using phony papers.

Uyghur muslims targeting China.
Cap. Zaharie Ahmad Shah, a 53-year-old Malaysian, has 18,365 total flying hours and joined Malaysia Airlines in 1981, the website said. The first officer is Fariq Ab.Hamid, 27, a Malaysian with a total of 2,763 flying hours. He joined Malaysia Airlines in 2007.
My guess is ROP is at it again. The aviation expert FoxNews interviewed earlier this morning seemed to agree.
Miami area I believe.
He’s got “bundlers” all over the country who own exquisite estates. Makes for a great vacay.
Terrorism is now the likely cause. The 777 hasn’t had an air crash since being commissioned and it’s a pretty safe plane with very few incidents and now we have two people reported aboard the plane who were not there. The next question is... How did they get the explosives aboard?
passenger mainfest posted earlier,......

REALLY....REALLY Poor Security!!
It would be easy for a jihadist working at the airport with access to planes on the ground to plant something. Cleaning staff, food service, maintenance, etc.
This happened very fast, and not over the best part of the world (under statement). Not a good sign.
