MANPAD launched from boat? If the last altitude reported in post #9 of 35,000 feet is accurate a Stinger (and likely any other man portable missile) wouldn't get close to it. Most sites I've seen say the max altitude is around 10,000 feet, and that's for a perfect engagement angle and speed.
