As I tried to clarify in a subsequent post. He said this in September of last year in response to the implementation of the law just days later on October 1st. Was it possible to stop it with just 10 days to go before it kicks in? If that was the context then he was honest and correct.
And you are simply being dishonest with yourself if you think that statement in ANY way means that he is supportive of the ACA or that Rand Paul is waiting to see what the general public thinks before he expresses his personal beliefs. He was being truthful that he could not get enough support to help stop it before October 1st.
Again, I am not leaning towards one potential candidate or another at this point.
