Russian troops on Friday attacked a Ukranian military base 5 kilometers from the Ukranian city Sevastopol, located on the Black Sea coast of the Crimean peninsula.
According to early reports, members of a pro-Russia militia used a truck to break though the gate of the base. The truck got stuck at the gate, and Russia soldiers climbed over it. Some 70 Ukrainian troops were said to still be holding out in the bunkers. Russians troops who broke through the perimeter demanded the Ukrainian soldiers surrender. There were no reports of shots being fired.

Despite the I'm not part of the so-called "intelligensia", it has always been abundantly clear to me that Putin aims at re-assembling the old USSR. 0bama gives his the perfect chance, before we get a REAL president again. I guess the 0bama regime was too busy spying on Americans to figure out what russia was doing.
You'd think Putin would extend a little 'professional courtesy' to his fellow commie, but when faced with kenyan/indonesian, muzzie, girly-man, I guess it just turns his stomach.
