Oh, pipe down! You are an old Freeper and should be able to read a text and understand it. Putin is saying that the Ukrainians would stand with the Russians. Right or wrong - probably right in some places, and wrong in most places - but that is all he is saying.

Putin is saying that the people in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine support what he has done to restore order. They would stand in front of the Russian forces to show their support.
Somebody wants a war and IMO it isn’t Putin.
