I've always been for self determination.

75% of Ukraines parliament voted to remove Yanukovick. That's self determination. I was for that while some here weren't.

Crimea's parliament votes to secede and join Russia. That's self determination. I'm for that.

That's holding to a consistant principle.

No, it’s not. It’s twisting facts to suit your position. Following your logic Poland can invade Kaliningrad with 5th columnists and hold a “self determination” vote. No chance that would be allowed. Russia would nuke them first.

It’s complicated for sure. Putin may very well be legitimate with Crimea, but he won’t stop until Poland is under his empire.
