As vulnerable Democrats press for another unilateral delay of a key provision of ObamaCare, surely many in the party have come to wonder if the law is really worth all of this trouble. If its not worth enacting, is it really worth losing the Senate over? ... Democrats know that canceling those policies is necessary for the law to work, since consumers must be herded into more expensive plans in order to finance otherwise unsustainable new customers

Will happen post-election 2014. They have granted themselves the power to delay those parts of the law, or will pay the insurance companies to delay announcing rate hikes.
There really IS no “Obamacare Law”, is there? A law that is routinely ignored and changed at will by the Clown is, in effect, non-existent.
All we have today are edicts from wannabe dictators....something quite different from LEGISLATION as defined by the Constitution.
Duh!
0bamacare is valuable only to 0bammunists, for whom it’s purely a tool for turning America into a national-socialist state,
Lives ... not careers.
All a pubbie has to do is be Conservative with balls ... it really is not that hard ... nor dangerous.
One minute speeches, every morning, day after day, after day after day ...
"Mr Speaker, it's obvious the Affordable Care Act is not important, nor urgent, nor needed .. because if it was, the proponents would be screaming about how the President is not enforcing it but nullifying it's importance every day."
No one uses the morning minute speeches anymore.
Oh, some show up to honor a high school stoont or suggest we open a dialog about this, that or the other thing.
But morning time is refreshed time ... write the thing out last night and hit the podium.
Ted Cruz gets ink because he is consistent and continual, but that's just one man, and when his political carreer is over (it had BETTER be over sometime .. ), he can live comfortably and wealthy for the rest of his life ... EVERY politician can live comfortably and wealthy their entire lives
Why NOT do good for the country while you're in office ?
They won't be able to stop premiums from Skyrocketing next year or to be able to stop the electorate from seeing it in October. The mainstream press will try, but the pain will be much too great.
Obama will try bailing out the insurance companies through his scam, but I don't think it will work out well.
I hope you mean Obama's, Nancy's and Harry's.
Looks like those poor schlups who got drowned in the first wave of cancellations have no real recourse.
There is no real equal application of the law here because the Administration does not recognize the concept of law...just the concept of willful action heedless of how it may harm others.
But, don’t bet that this is a sure fire escape hatch for the despicable Democrats. Events have a way of taking strange turns and more waves of disappointment and hurt are coming soon.
Politics was never supposed to be a carreer.
It’s the ego trip of a single very petty, vainglorious individual.
If these people are so cowed by race, the media, their own lust for a sprinkling of pixie dust, etc. that their survival instincts are suppressed then they deserve their fate.
If obamacare is so great, why is obama essentially repealing it one piece at a time?
It might be a good idea to wait until you’re awake to post. What is a “high school stoont”?
And why should Ted Cruz retire early?
In the beginning ... men were not to serve longer than a term (as I understand it)
obamacare will come. The delays are only because they have no place to keep the sheep until slaughter day. Once they are up and running, the sheep will experience the full joy of obamacare. They have not repealed it, they have only delayed its full implementation.
“herded into more expensive plans” sound good until they realize that if people don’t have the money they simply will be able to pay for the more expensive plan. You can’t get blood out of a stone. By next year millions will have lost their insurance and be uninsured.
My sister in law just lost her insurance because they sent her a letter telling her that her plan was going away at $400 per month for a $10,000 deductible. But they could offer her a new plan at $800 per month. They just can’t afford it. If you don’t have it you don’thave it.
