This bothers me. If everyone has ObamaCare why are these community health clinics needed? Who will use them? If you can get “free” care at these why would anyone buy ObamaCare?

Good question. A sizable portion of the argument regarding the need for ObieCare was based on claims that didn't accurately report the state of the current system. A portion of those who supposedly have "no access to healthcare" have been using community clinics for decades. And, of course a lot of them go to emergency rooms.

When it comes to primary care for the poor, spending Fed money for Community Clinics is a much more efficient use of funds than the ObieCare approach. Not as much opportunity for graft, though, so the politicians wouldn't be enthused.

Our local clinic goes by income. You could catch anything just sitting in the waiting room- and pay through the nose for the privilege. The seating is row after row of metal chairs, all close together.
