"John is a friend, and a good man. He's earned considerable respect in the Senate. We have not agreed on everything, but we have agreed on the vast majority of issues. Together, we're a strong and effective team for Texas," Cruz wrote, later adding that he is "proud" to endorse Cornyn.

"The No. 2 ranking Republican in the Senate, John Cornyn, easily won his primary, grabbing nearly 62% of the vote, according to the tally of the Texas Secretary of State's office. That's well over the 50% threshold needed to avoid a runoff, which is required by Texas law if no candidate receives a majority."
Not surprising really. Cornyn is the GOP candidate whether we like it or not.
CRUZ A KOOK! CRUZ OFF HIS MEDS!
Too bad he won the primary, and it was good that he didn’t endorse him during the primary. Now, it’s a no brainer.

Cruzs post-primary endorsement of Cornyn

Hes earned considerable respect in the Senate. We have not agreed on everything, but
we have agreed on the vast majority of issues, Cruz posted Wednesday on Facebook.
He added that he was proud to endorse Cornyn along with two other GOP nominees:
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott for governor, and George P. Bush for land commissioner.
My position all along you and I have had this conversation a hundred times
is that Im likely going to stay out of incumbent Republican primaries. Its no
longer an incumbent Republican primary, Cruz said. From Day 1 John Cornyn and I have
had a good working relationship. We have been friends. We have agreed on the vast majority
of issues. I think were a strong and effective team working for Texas.
He noted that even without an endorsement, he did donate to Cornyns campaign.
That was last May, when his political action committee sent a $2,500 check.

Right and as much as I hate RINOs, I really really abhor Democrats.
I have no Doubt Cruz would have endorsed the GOP candidate whoever would have won :/
We Press On.
BAWK-BAWK-BAWK, bawk-bawk, - - - bawk-bawk-BAWK-BAWK-BAWK-BAWK!
I fail to see any distinguishing characteristic between "RINO" and "Democrat".
Frankly I wish they would all refrain from giving endorsements till after the primaries.
Democrats are lock-step with their Communist leaders, no chance of some rogue Congressman bucking the system.
A RINO wants desperately to vote with the Communist but sometimes buckles to the pressure and sides with Conservatives.
The difference is hope, none with Democrats, a sliver with Republicans.

That's no real hope, just a blustery cloud with no rain.
I am curious about just how many votes that Cornyn got last night were from RATs jumping into the Republican Primary to skew the vote?
I’m just glad its not a decision I have to make.
I’m still trying to decide how one separates a RAT from a RINO?
Crowbar?
It would have been higher, but the dems really needed to keep Kesha out of the running for that seat. She's a conservative changeling, that runs as a dem.

Well, now that that’s over, John can go back to figuring out a way to sneak amnesty through and screwing up the GOP’s chances of retaking the Senate.
