That still doesn't answer the question. The Judge could have just said "no" to that but she maintained the status quo. Someone else said an additional hearing has been scheduled to determine whether the parents will be required to pay her college tuition. And if so how much - a state college tuition or an Ivy League private college tuition.

Actually it does answer the question. The parents retain control of the accounts. The future hearing will determine how they are dispensed.

It’s been reported that she has a $20,000 scholarship to the University of Vermont.

The scholarship application may have listed that account and thus contingent upon it.
