For starters, putting the brilliant surgeon and patriot Ben Carson in charge of developing some better ideas. He was the youngest person ever appointed head of the brain surgery department of Johns Hopkins Hospital, consistently one of the nation's premier research and teaching hospitals. Unlike the Community Organizer, Dr. Carson has real life-and-death work experience, and real experience managing people whose work demands not just intelligence, but also accountability.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Only a wide coalition can affect this change. If he puts all his ideas out there without strong allies, the Democrats will skim a few off the top, cheapen them, distort them, implement them halfway and then blame Ben Carson. So now, he is appropriately trying to interest the right people in supporting this effort.
Amen to that, AW. Good post.
Judging from this article and his website he hasn't developed any better ideas or worse ideas or any ideas at all. If you flat just want to get rid of Obamacare then say it. I can understand the reasoning behind wanting to do that. But don't say "we're gonna kill it by offering a better solution" and then offer nothing.

He put himself out there. If he offers nothing then how can we take him seriously?
