John Kerry pounded his hand on the podium today and once again lectured Vladimir Putin on appropriate 21st Century G8 behavior.

“I’ve spoken as directly at President Putin today as I can. It is not appropriate to invade a country and at the end of a barrel of a gun dictate what your are trying to achieve. That is not 21st Century G8 major nation behavior.”

Meanwhile, Vladamir Putin test fired another ICBM missile.

It seems that according to John Kerry, Russia is violating modern rules of behavior by nations. John Kerry doesn’t understand something about rules. At times rules must be enforced. If there is no enforcement, others will be emboldened to break the rules.

Enforcement doesn’t always mean action. It could mean remaining a credible, respected and even feared power - which the USA once was under prior presidents. That doesn’t happen when you agree to reduce nuclear stockpiles, announce that you are going to trim the military to drastic lows, draw one red line after another and then put an over-botoxed, horse-faced p***erhead in the office of Secretary of State.
