To hear them talk, Iraq and Afghanistan weren't "mistakes" but great triumphs. How many times have we heard the refrain about how great things are in Iraq and Afghanistan because of "free and democratic elections (TM)", and how the Arab spring has been nothing but a geopolitical blessing? I've never once heard any of the talking heads admit that they were wrong about any of it.
