Nebraska isn't my first choice when I think of quality of life it's too cold and bland for my taste.

I took my son to the Bullock Museum and capitol building Sunday (both free). The capitol is just magnificent. Then we toured the UT campus and visited SOCO (South Congress Ave - eclectic shops and eateries). Next weekend when it warms up, we'll hang out at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock (650 acres of sports, fishing, and fun - all free).
