I am an NRA member but will never be a Life member to any organization. All organizations can lose their way, and the only way to keep them in check is to leave if need be.

Most gun control is at the state level. Nothing against the NRA, I just think other gun orgs are more effective. Check out VCDL if you want an example.

Regimes (and wannabe regimes) have always tried to infringe upon the peoples right to keep and bear arms....
In Scotland, after the ‘45, the people were denied arms....
it went even as far as outlawing the bagpipes....
they were classified as ‘weapons’ (?)
