I greatly respect your adoration of St. Patrick and your wish that everyone of Irish descent would also. But in America, the spirit of “everyone can be Irish” on St. Patrick’s day prevails. It’s a celebration of Irish ethnicity in America, not a religious holiday. Yes, to the faithful it is an abomination, but the faithful should also be tolerant lest they be judged.
