Connecticut Police to Begin Door-to-Door Gun Confiscations

The State of Connecticut says that all citizens must register rifles and high capacity magazines, or be charged will a felony. As many as 100,000 people could face heavily armed police smashing down their doors and be charged with a felony.

The legislature of CT says that a registration is needed so they can know where the guns are. Yet at the same time, they are sending threatening letters to gun owners. So they already have records of who has purchased certain guns. The fact is, that the CT legislature fully intends to confiscate hundreds of thousands of firearms anyway......

Shots fired is not civil disobedience, and will not be a good idea unless there were mass-action by gun-owners.

Civil disobedience would be hiding the firearms, for example.

They weren't supposed to be doing that. A promise that they made to get people to accept background checks. There was a big stink in my state a few years ago.

So, even if they don't have registration, they may still be able to use the database to track people down.

Like I said, if you have firearms that you think are not in the database, hide them away if the police ever come a knockin.

Civil disobedience is simply the refusal to obey commands, demands, etc of the government. I believe trigger pulling is simply the final act in that play. Maybe you’re automatically conflating it with nonviolent civil disobedience.
