“I shoot off of my back covered deck out to a 100 yard target set-up for long guns and a 50 foot target set-up for handguns.”
My range is into a hill off my front area outside my kitchen. Great for either handguns or longguns. I do not hav e to beware of snow cover.
Sounds like a good set-up GG! Each day as I take a walk up thru the mountains here, (Gotta keep the old bones movin’!), I swing by each of my target stations on the way. Each one has a small whisk broom, about 200 various Caldwell or Shoot-And-See targets, (And other type targets), in zip-locks and stapler and staples. Any snow gets swept off then and new targets placed. If it gets a bit to chilly outside to practice off of my back deck I just open my slider a bit and bench off of my kitchen table. (Nice having a ‘Range’ in your backyard huh??!!) I reload a lot and it is nice to be able to just step outside to check fire loads also. Stay safe GG!
