I think they are looking at June 7.
Hotels have not been picked but we are looking toward the rockwall harbor hilton. Rooms are $127 but we are going to try to negotiate a group rate.

Will 300 whisper work in the same AR?

I gather the answer is yes. Ammo is supposed to be identical, the chamber throat is 15 thousandths longer for one of them.

I was just wondering if the subsonic whisper would cycle the action.

The stuff I tried did just fine. Bullet drop is severe.

I said it yesterday to Jimrob.
This Ukraine thing could kill our relatively cheap Ammo.

Thanks for the info.

Speaking of whisper, Ammo depot in Caddo Mills is now selling suppressors.

Wow, I think my Eclipse Target II/ Stainless Custom II TLE’s loaded Wilson Combat Mags weight more than that. That’s featherweight, and a .380 round is a “puppy recoil”. Nice.

Did you hear what Tom said about small .380s? “It’s the kind of gun where you hold the guy with one hand and shoot him with the other.” LOL!

I tried some subsonic 223 once. So quiet you didn’t need hearing protection. The RSO thought I had squibs. That stuff did not cycle.

I tried some subsonic 60 grain .22

Works fine in Ruger MK II and 10/22.
It even works in an AR15 with a CMMG 22 conversion kit, but accuracy is reduced.
Will not feed in Marlin 60.

Just got home to Houston driving from Frisco, TX. Drove through some of the worst, nastiest freezing rain and sleet I’ve ever seen between Corsicanna and Madisonville. Saw 3 cars wrecked different places along the way - one was a rollover & the EMTs had a tarp over one side of the car, so you know how that one went. Then I finally get to Houston and some knucklehead spins out in front of me — near miss!

LMAO

Looking at all the school closings. Good grief. I was thinking of a delayed opening for the office. With all these closed schools, half my staff will be out.

Gorebull Warming grrrrrr.
