Just wasn’t on that wavelength. Sure we need to continue legal immigration, but neither party is doing jack squat, about illegal immigration.
Stop illegal immigration.

One thing we must be perfectly clear on is that we favor legal immigration. I am a third generation person myself. Many of the best Americans we have are new arrivals. Many who come, suffered much before coming here. Often, they have an appreciation for America that the native born don’t have. I am thinking of a lot Eastern Europeans and others who fled communism or tyranny in their native countries. So, they are very different from those who come here illegally and collect public charity.
